Border regions/border histories as learning centres to break down prejudices – a virtual study portfolio

In memory of war victims

Thirty-seven students, seven teachers, three nations – one assignment!

As part of a project, they each meet one another three times over the course of two years in different European regions to get to know one another, to share stories and to build up an understanding of interculturality in order to break down any prejudices that may still hold firm.

One of the aims of this project is for the students to develop a virtual study portfolio in three languages (German, Polish and English) that can be used by other students throughout Europe. In compiling this portfolio, museums and memorials as learning centres are providing introductory materials that are then chosen by each extra-curricular learning centre based on the project aim and covered at the different project meetings.
